When is the right time to List my Home?

If you are looking to sell your home in 2011, you are probably asking yourself “when is the best time to list my home?” You may need to move because of your employment, expecting a baby and need more space or maybe looking to downsize. Whatever the reason there are many factors You may take into consideration in regards to timing; such as personal convenience, your family’s/children’s school schedule, economic factors and/or the current real estate market? The last few years have taught us, that with so much uncertainty in Calgary & World, we now need to be more conscious and aware of the the actual market statistics in order to sell a home.

In regards to the actual market statistics one of the most important statistics is the one that is easiest to understand….Supply and Demand. The amount of Inventory (Supply) and # of Sales (Demand) are certainly great tools we can utilize to possibly gauge the original question.
